The White Hare
This was a painting done for my beautiful mother on her 80th birthday. She is as happily obsessed with hares as I am.
There is something about them, so fey and ethereal, wild and free rather like my mum herself to be honest.
I'm lucky enough to live in a place where I can see them at play and they always seem to turn up when I need to see one, they remind me of the magic of our world and our place in it. They have inspired legends and myths since the beginning of time and continue to inspire me.
So if your ever gloomy keep an eye on the moor and, if you see and ear twitch then you know the Goddess has got your back.
