There is something magical about the liminal space at the edge of the untameable moorland, steeped as it is in myth and legend. that inspires my artwork.

Shaun is our people person, he is the backbone (he says he does all the work) he’s passionate about our creations and is responsible for the day to day running of the business, sourcing ethical suppliers, and running the trade shows, and the online shop. He is our liaison with the local businesses that support us and although he insists, he can’t draw for toffee he is invaluable.

Kerris is the artist she sits about all day drawing or roams about the moor with her camera and sketch book and takes all the credit! she originally trained as an artist and engineering draughtsperson, then later gained an animal science degree, but always the moor, and the art draw her back.

And finally, we have Raven and Blaze themselves, the story started when two little brothers needed a home and met two ageing hippies who turned out to be a right pair of soft touches! They inspire, us make us laugh, drag us out of bed at sparrow spit in the morning and make tramping over the moors so much fun in short, they are utterly “labradorable” keep an eye open they pop into photos whenever they spy a chance!

“I believe if we see a god as that which gave us life and all that sustains it, then we are standing on it, its hard not to believe in the earth and to paraphrase the great Terry Pratchet its a bit like trying NOT to believe in the postman. All the major religions treat my Goddess as a staging post to somewhere better, yet I believe that if there is a garden of eden then this is it and we desperately need to start taking care of it, I try through my art to open eyes to the beauty and wonder of this in the hope that if we value it then we will take care of it.”
